Unwavering commitment and determination to navigate the best course of action for our clients

John P. Quirke

John P. Quirke is a partner with Apruzzese, McDermott, Mastro, and Murphy focusing on the representation of management and human resources professionals in all areas of labor and employment law.  His predominant focus is on helping companies manage the employer/employee relationship while successfully navigating the web of federal and statement employment laws.  He also represents clients in both federal and state courts throughout the country.

Prior to joining with Apruzzese, McDermott, Mastro, and Murphy, Mr. Quirke managed his own law firm after spending much of his career at Wolf Block, P.C., Archer & Greiner, P.C. and McCarter & English, P.C., three of the region’s largest law firms.  In all, Mr. Quirke has over three decades of experience in the areas of employment and labor law counseling and litigation.

Mr. Quirke believes that the paramount objective in counseling management on the myriad interactions of state and federal employment laws is to give clients clear guidance on legal responsibilities so that management may make informed business decisions while, at the same time, putting the client in the best possible position to defend its interests should litigation occur despite best efforts.
